The Boston Black Hospitality Coalition (BBHC) was created out of the necessity to have a directed initiative that ensures the future of Boston’s Black-owned hospitality community. Our priority is to preserve a 180+ year legacy of food, culture, and business in Boston’s black communities.
Celebrate food, culture, and community with Boston’s black-owned restaurants. Discover the traditional flavors that proudly showcase a rich and resourceful heritage. Experience the hospitality of over 70 eateries and cocktail bars while enjoying a variety of specials, promotions, and events throughout the month of June.
The Boston Black Hospitality Coalition is collaborating with the Roxbury Main Streets and Nubian Square businesses and associations committed to the revival of the historic commerce and transportation hub. The Summer in the Square series will commemorate and reflect the future development plans for the Nubian Square area.
Coalition has helped sustain members through closures.
